In today’s society it is very important that people with different religions understand a little about each other so you will want to keep this in mind when speaking to a Child About Muslims and Christians.

Main Difference between Muslims and Christians

The biggest difference between Muslims and Christians is that both view Jesus differently. Christians believe in Jesus, but they see him as a part of God. Christians follow the trinity, which is made up of the Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus. That means that Christians worship Jesus and think that Jesus claimed he was a part of God. Meanwhile, Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet for Allah and don’t worship or pray to him.

Another difference is that Christians believe that the Bible was the only holy book that God gave to us. Those who follow Islam believe that not only the Bible was Allah’s holy book, but also the Qur’an and even the Torah are God’s books to man. Another difference is Muslims also believe that Muhammad was the last prophet, but the Christians do not follow Muhammad at all. There is also the fact that Christians attend churches and Muslims attend the masjid, also known as mosques.

These differences are only here because Christians and Muslims just believe in different things when it comes to God. Christians directly follow Christ in their own beliefs, and Muslims follow Allah and the teachings of the prophets, including Muhammad. Just because there are differences does not mean that Christians and Muslims do not have any similarities. It is just that both have several major beliefs that are different. Despite these differences, Christians and Muslims should still love and care for our each other.
